<p>The invention relates to a profiled inserted plate hob cutter to be used in wood processing operations to obtain very wide profiled surfaces. According to the invention, the milling cutter comprises a cylindrical body (1) provided with a boring required for fastening the same on the machine shaft, on the generatrix of said body (2) there being cut a number of six or eight grooves (a), in the cross plane, the cylindrical body (1) having a double-thread worm groove (b), from the intersection of the two grooves (a and b) there resulting some teeth (2), each of them being provided with a radial hole (c), in two different diameter steps, the hole (c) with a smaller diameter being confined by a threaded wall, and a tangential hole (d), the teeth (2) being provided with some inserted plates (3) profied with some fragments (p) of the profile resulting on the wooden surface, the inserted plates (3) being fixed onto the teeth (2) by pressing, by means of some wedges (4), screws (5) and some pins (6 and 7).</p> |
