TEMPERATURE SENSOR SYSTEM FOR CARGO TANK OF MARK III LNG CARRIER

A temperature sensor system for a LNG cargo tank of a LNG carrier is provided to prevent damage to a signal wire due to damage to a membrane metal panel in order to implement a more stable temperature sensor system. A temperature sensor system for a LNG cargo tank of a LNG carrier includes an LNG tank(100), a temperature sensor(110), and a controller. The temperature sensor is installed at an outer side of a second wall, except a first wall and a first insulating layer. A signal wire(111) connects the controller to the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor detects variation of a temperature in the LNG tank through the second wall to detect leakage of LNG through the first and second walls. The signal wire extracted to the exterior of the LNG tank is connected to the controller.
