A method of reconstituting a non-human animal embryo by nuclear transfer of quiescent cells into a recipient cell

Disclosed is a method of reconstituting a non-human mammalian embryo, the method comprising fusing a quiescent diploid donor cell with an enucleated oocyte or microinjecting a quiescent diploid donor cell into an enucleated oocyte. Also disclosed is a non-human mammalian embryo prepared by the method.
