SOLID ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A solid electrolytic capacitor and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to suppress a leakage current defect due to stress through an insulating resin layer in a high temperature reflow process using lead-free soldering after manufacturing. A solid electrolytic capacitor includes one or a plurality of aluminum sheet elements. The aluminum sheet element has a cathode unit and an anode unit. The cathode unit has a dielectric oxide film(2), a cathode layer, a carbon layer, and a silver paint layer on a surface of an anode element sequentially. The anode unit is extended from the cathode layer. The plurality of aluminum sheet elements is laminated. An insulating resin layer(16) is formed on a surface of the dielectric oxide film, on an end surface(21) facing an end surface extended from the anode unit.
