Disclosed are compounds, compositions, and pharmaceutical compositions comprising oligonucleotides capable of disrupting protein aggregations that are characteristic of disorders of protein assembly are described, as are in vitro and in vivo methods for identifying such oligonucleotides, and methods for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of the disorders by administration of such compositions.
