COLOR FILTER SUBSTRATE AND DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

A color filter substrate and a display device including the same are provided to improve display quality and the reliability of a fabrication process. The first base substrate(110) includes pixel regions defined thereon. A color layer(220) includes color filters formed on the pixel regions. A transparent metal film(240) is formed on the color layer and scatters static electricity. A common electrode layer(260) is formed on the first base substrate including the color layer and the transparent metal film. A planarization film(230) is formed between the transparent metal film and the common electrode layer and made of an insulation material. The planarization film is formed between the color layer and the transparent metal film. An insulating layer(250) is formed between the transparent metal film and the common electrode layer.
