The restraint (1) has a block (2) integrated to a locking unit (6) arranged for being cooperated with a vertical indexing unit (5) that is in the form of control rack, in a reversible manner, for permitting vertical adjustment of a position of the block with respect to a U-shaped inner metallic tubular structure (3). An actuating part (7) is assembled with the block to suppress the cooperation between the units, by actuating the part by a passenger. The part is arranged on a lower surface (16) of the block and assembled in a manner to be actuated towards the top by a vertical support.
