POWER SWITCHING MODULE FOR BATTERY MODULE ASSEMBLY

A PSM(Power Switching Module) for fabricating a battery module assembly is provided to prevent increment of internal resistance and short of an electric connection device due to external impact by reducing a length of the connection device. A PSM(400) has a hexahedral structure(hexahedral laminate) by stacking a plurality of rectangular battery modules by two or more horizontally and vertically. The rectangular battery modules include a plurality of battery cells or unit modules connected to each other in series. Outer circumferential corners of the hexahedral laminate are fixed by a frame member. Input and output terminals(426,428) of each of the rectangular battery modules are arranged to face one surface of the hexahedral laminate. Control elements(414,416,420) and connection members(424,430) thereof are mounted on an insulating substrate(410) coupled and mounted on the one surface of the hexahedral laminate. The control elements control a voltage and a current in charge and discharge.
