METHOD FOR EXECUTING A FUNCTION USING A IMAGE-CODE, AND TERMINAL THEREOF

A method for executing a function using an image code and its terminal are provided to allow a user to execute a desired particular function by recognizing an image code at any time and in any place. An image code generating unit(116) generates an image code including a function identification code indicating a function performed by a terminal and a contents code indicating a performing target of the function. An image code recognizing unit(114) captures the image code and interprets it. A controller(110) recognizes the function identification code and the contents code included in the image code, and controls to perform a corresponding function for the corresponding contents. The function identification code instructs of automatically changing of a background screen image of the terminal to a desired image or instructs of automatically changing a bell sound of the terminal.
