<p>The invention relates to a process and an installation for collecting the free methane gas from the sea bottom where there are metastable deposits of hydrate methane. According to the invention, the process includes the collection of the free methane from the sea bottom and directing the same upwards as a methane gas-sea water mixture which is conveyed to an enclosure where the stage of methane gas separation is carried out, the sea water being sucked and discharged back to the sea. Further on, the humid methane gas is separated and cooled to produce the condensation of the last sea water fractions, and then is liquefied. The claimed installation for carrying out the process comprises some guiding arms (A) on which there are mounted some intermediate, lower and upper platforms (B, C and 6), the intermediate platform (B) being meant to support some electrical reversible trolleys (D and E) used for the displacement of a flexible or telescopic conduit (21) and some collectors (K), of some reversible and double trolleys (F) for driving some separators (L) and a flexible conduit (50) on radial direction, as well as of some electrical reversible and double trolleys (G) used for for the maneuver of some lateral anchors (7). The lower platform (C) is meant to support the components of a process line (H or G) together with the intermediate platform (B), while the upper platform (6) can be used as a heliport.</p> |
