A diffuser device for an air conditioner is provided to control an air supply amount, to convert air flow diffusing direction, and to diffuse air uniformly in every direction by an air flow diffusing element which rotates right and left and moves vertically. A diffuser device for an air conditioner includes an air flow diffusing element(20) mounted to an air outlet(11) of a frame(10) and fixed with a long screw pipe(21) upward in the center for exposing a longitudinal through-hole of the screw pipe to a lower surface of the air flow diffusing element, and a supporting element(40) having a straight supporting element(41) fixed to an inner surface of the frame in the middle of an air inlet(12), and a coupling pipe(44) formed with a screw hole(43) so as to couple the screw pipe into the screw hole for supporting the air flow diffusing element in the center of the air outlet. A damper handle(31) has rectangular handle shaft parts(32) inserted into the exposed through-hole of the air flow diffusing element, wherein the rectangular handle shaft parts exposed to an upper end of the coupling pipe are coupled with a holding element(32a) held on the coupling pipe. Upper ends of the rectangular handle shaft parts are fitted into a long rectangular groove part(34) of a rotational element(33) which is supported by a damper element(30), wherein the rectangular handle shaft parts move vertically in the longitudinal direction of the rectangular groove part. A cross-shaped supporting element(300) is mounted to the air inlet to define quarter air holes. First to third closing elements(310,320,330) are overlapped on the cross-shaped supporting element in sequence and have cross-shaped closing pieces and quarter air holes in the same size with those of the cross-shaped supporting element. A square shaft part(35) is fitted into through-holes of the cross-shaped supporting element and the second and third closing parts and a square hole of the first closing element and fixed with a nut(37).
