ELECTROPHORETIC DISPLAY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

An electro-phoretic display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase the resolution of the device by reducing the width of a seam line. Plural display panel pieces are bonded so that the first display panel(100) is formed. The first display panel includes a display area(DA) and a peripheral area(PA). The second display panel(200) is located oppositely to the first display panel. An electro-phoretic film is located between the first and second display panels. The display panel pieces includes a flexible substrate as a basic substrate. The electro-phoretic film includes an electro-phoretic member. The electro-phoretic member includes the first electro-phoretic particles with white color and the second electro-phoretic particles with black color. The first and second electro-phoretic particles are dispersed so that the dispersion medium is produced. The dispersion medium is stored in a capsule. A curing agent attaches the electro-phoretic member to the plural bonded flexible substrates.
