An apparatus for monitoring at least one scene comprises a plurality of cameras for providing a plurality of input videos and a video rendering system selectively rendering for viewing by a user a subset of the plurality of input videos overlaid onto a three dimensional model of the at least one scene in response to a pose parameter. The apparatus further comprises at least one vision based alarm system for generating an alarm signal. The pose parameter is selected in accordance with the alarm signal, so that the rendering includes rendering of an area of the model associated with an area associated with the alarm signal.
