Disclosed is an aqueous two-component adhesion promoter composition composed of a first component K1 comprising at least one organoalkoxysilane S and at least one anhydrous surfactant T; and of a second component K2 comprising at least water and at least one acid; and the acid being present in an amount such that after components K1 and K2 have been mixed the resulting mixture gives an acidic reaction.
