A system for analysing risk associated with an investment portfolio of an investor is disclosed. The system includes means for generating a user interface (1050) for display on a user terminal. The user interface (1050) shows a distribution of assets (1070) of each investment (1068) of the investment portfolio over one or more asset classes (1072) and shows the distribution of assets (1080) over the one or more asset classes (1072) of a benchmark risk category (1082) representing a risk tolerance level of the investor.
