The device (1) has a cylindrical shaped housing (2) for receiving a rotor part (11) of a rotating locking bolt (10) of a door of a motor vehicle, where the rotor part is movably mounted, in axial rotation, inside a stator part (12) of the locking bolt. The stator part of the locking bolt is constituted by a portion of the device, which defines the housing. The housing is open at one of axial ends of the housing. A stopper (20) blocks the rotor part in axial translation.
