<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image processor capable of excellently reproducing a line drawing described on a board such as a whiteboard or a sheet, a copier and a printing-control program. <P>SOLUTION: An image on the whiteboard photographed by a digital camera is divided into a luminance component and a color difference component by a color conversion section 122, and an edge is determined by an edge determination section 128 for a contour emphasizing section 124. A background determination section 134 determines whether the edge is included within a specified range, and a background output section 141 discriminates a background by using emphasized luminance data 132 as a threshold value. A primary conversion section 143 conducts a γ correction to fix the background section of the whiteboard to the gradation of "white" having a large gradation difference to the line drawing.
