BGP NETWORK SYSTEM AND ITS PEER ESTABLISHMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system and its peer establishment method which can automatically and quickly support communication recovery when a network disconnection occurs with avoiding a redundant network structure.

SOLUTION: If the member confederation of a neighbor router that is a new connection destination is different from its own member confederation, a second generator 1052 of a BGP OPEN message generator 105 registers its own confederation ID rather than its own AS number into the member AS field of a BGP OPEN message that is to be transmitted. A second generator 1072 of a BGP UPDATE message generator 107 registers the confederation ID of a neighbor router rather than its own confederation ID into the member confederation field of a BGP UPDATE message that is to be transmitted.
