PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant compressor capable of maintaining a high performance efficiency, and reliability at a good level regardless of difference in refrigeration cycle. SOLUTION: A refrigerant compressor C includes a motor 3 in an airtight container 1 for reserving a refrigeration machine oil 14, and a compressor section 2 driven by the motor 3 for compressing the refrigerant. The refrigerant is carbon dioxide, and the motor 3 is configured to partially include organic materials, and all the organic materials used therein are heat-resistant grade in F class or higher specified by Standards by Electrical standards Research Committee of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
