PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily install a power line communication device such as a repeater to a site where a feeding point is not provided. SOLUTION: The power line communication device 1 employing a power line P as a transmission path includes an inductive coupling section 2 for injecting and/or taking a signal with respect to the power line P and receiving power form the power line P by being inductively coupled to the power line P. The inductive coupling section includes a signal coupling section for injecting and/or taking a signal with respect to the power line, and power feeding coupling section for receiving power from the power line.
