PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of increasing a forward/backward movement and reducing fluctuation of resistance against the drive load, thus, preventing the image blur. SOLUTION: The lens barrel 1 includes: a second group frame 9 forwardly/backwardly movable, which is provided with plural pairs of cam followers 9b1 and 9c1, 9b2 and 9c2; and a cam frame 7 as a rotatable frame member that includes a first cam part that allows switching of engagement with the cam followers 9b1 and 9c1, and that is formed of plural pairs of a cam groove 7b1 and a loose fit groove 7dl, and a loose fit groove 7el and a cam groove 7c1, and a second cam part that allows switching of engagement with the cam followers 9b2 and 9c2, and that is formed of plural pairs of a cam groove 7b2 and a loose fit groove 7d2, and a loose fit groove 7e2 and a cam groove 7c2. The cam frame rotational phase where the first cam part switches engagement with the cam follower is different from the cam frame rotational phase where the second cam part switches engagement with the cam follower.
