PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect-proof structure capable of easily and surely preventing harmful insects from entering a building from soil, while effectively utilizing resources without the use of a chemical agent. SOLUTION: In this insect-proof structure, a barrier layer 3 for preventing the harmful insects from entering, which is constituted by spreading granular blast furnace slag except granular converter slag and granulated blast furnace slag, is formed in such a manner as to wholly or partially cover a soil surface S under the floor of the building.
