PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store ECU cases in various sizes by one kind of a box body. SOLUTION: This electronic control unit mounting box is for mounting the ECU case with a built-in electronic control unit in a vehicle in an incorporated state, and it is composed of the box body 10 and a support stay 30 formed separately from this box body. The box body 10 is provided with a storage space 12 storing the ECU case 20, an insertion port 14 for inserting the ECU case in this storage space, and support rails 16 provided respectively in the opposed inner walls of the storage space 12. The support stay 30 is integrated in the storage space 12 by having both ends thereof engaged with both support rails 16 respectively. The support stay 30 is provided with a support section 34 supporting the ECU case 20 inserted in the storage space 12 from the insertion port 14.
