PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording head for which a supporting board and a recording element board can have stable bonding surfaces even when the recording element board is, e.g., enlarged regardless of the size of the recording element board in the inkjet recording head. SOLUTION: When the recording element board 1 is positioned on a supporting member 2, and is fixed with an adhesive, the adhesive spreading range is regulated by a recess section 3 or the like, and a non-bonded section is provided at a part. Thus, the length by which the recording element board is fixed becomes shorter than the case where the whole rear surface of the recording element board is bonded. Therefore, the effect of a linear expansion coefficient difference between the recording element board 1 and the supporting board becomes smaller, and the reliability of the bonded surfaces between the recording element board and the supporting board can be enhanced.
