PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a respirator that can supply air to a patient during an inhalation period and sucks patient's exhalation during an exhalation period. SOLUTION: Substantially cylindrical internal and external bellows 3 and 4 are coaxially arranged in the form of a double concentric circle, a mounting member 7 and a foundation 8 are connected to one ends and the other ends in the directions of the axes 5 of the internal and external bellows 3 and 4, the foundation 8 is arranged in a fixed position, a first inhalation check valve 13 and a first exhalation check valve 23 are provided in the position fronting a first space 10 of the foundation 8, and a second inhalation check valve 14 and a second exhalation check valve 24 are provided in the position fronting a second space 11 of the foundation 8. Furthermore, an insertion tube 56 inserted into the trachea of the patient and the second exhalation check valve 24 are connected by an inhalation duct 57, and the insertion tube 56 and the first inhalation check valve 13 are connected by an exhalation duct 58, whereby the supply of inhalation to the patient and suction of exhalation of the patient can be realized by a single unit.
