The device has contact zones (36, 38) that lie on top of one another in printed circuit boards (20, 22), which are fixed together in a final mounting position and are arranged on top of each other. The zones are electro-conductively connected with each other using a contact unit (24), where the zones are designed as passages. The contact unit is brought with one of the zones of one of the boards in an attached position, and stands in connection with an end section (34) with the other zone of the other board in an electro-conductive manner. An independent claim is also included for a method for electric contacting of printed circuit boards.
