<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overflowing of an adhesive for fixing together an optical component and a housing of a solid-state imaging device. <P>SOLUTION: In the solid-state imaging device, a female screw portion of the housing and a male screw portion of the optical component are engaged with each other.
