<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a display panel large-sized, high in definition, and lower in power consumption while suppressing crosstalk. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is a driving circuit of a display panel where pixel circuits 3(i, j) including electrooptical elements (OLED(i, j)) driven with currents respectively are arranged in a matrix form, the driving circuit having a plurality of driving units 42A(i) which are arranged by pixel circuit groups connected in parallel to first power lines 32(i) in the display panel and switch a potential of one of first and second power lines (power lines 32(i)) connected to corresponding pixel circuit groups alternately between a driving level (VDDV2) and a non-driving level (VSSV2) to AC-drive currents supplied to the electrooptical elements (OLED(i, j)), and switches 7(i) which mutually short-circuit a plurality of first power lines (32(i) and 32(i+1)) including power lines (32(i)) connected to pixel circuit groups to be driven whose light emission is controlled according to an input data voltage Vsig and then AC-driven. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
