PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating rice cooker, in which a pot having copper on the surface is induction-heated, heat efficiency is increased by detecting a high frequency resistance value of the copper provided on the surface of the pot, and estimating temperature of the copper on the surface of the pot based on temperature-based change of the high frequency resistance value detected for detecting the temperature of the pot in a non-contact way, so as to eliminate heat loss due to contact of the temperature detection means with the pot.
SOLUTION: The pot 1 having copper on the surface is induction-heated by a heating coil 2, and an inverter circuit 3 to feed high frequency current to the heating coil 2 is controlled by a control means 10. A value equivalent to the resistance value of high frequency components of the copper provided on the pot 1 is detected by a high frequency resistance detection means 11. Temperature of the pot 1 is detected based on the high frequency resistance detected by the high frequency resistance detection means.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
|
