<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple display-type timepiece with novel functions added thereto such as enhancing the flexibility of visibility of a user, and a dial plate for a timepiece serving as its component part. <P>SOLUTION: This dial plate for a timepiece is equipped with a display panel 5 having a displaying function as a character part 70 for representing time. The displaying function comprises a first displaying function for shifting the display position of the character part 70 on the display panel 5 by changing its angle in the circumferential direction of the dial plate.
