PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which beforehand and reliably prevents accumulated combustion of noncondensable gases in the area where gases can be accumulated, and which secures the soundness of the equipment and piping in a nuclear power plant and increases the reliability. SOLUTION: The prevention system 52G for the accumulated combustion of noncondensable gases has the area 50 where gases can be accumulated in a dead-end branch pipe 45 which branches and protrudes from a main pipe 44 through which steam flows, incorporates a communicating pipe 71 which connects the branch pipe to the main pipe, and keeps the communicating pipe 71 open into the main pipe 44.
