PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing apparatus which can package a body to be packaged without damaging the body to be packaged, and also, by causing no peeling off of an adhesive tape. SOLUTION: This packing apparatus has folding lines which are located on the ridges of the square cylinder in a manner to become approximately rectangular under a development, and become an approximately square cylinder under a fold. One surface of the square cylinder has overlapping sections 16A and 16B which are overlapped with each other. The overlapping section 16B on the upper side of the overlapping sections 16A and 16B has the folding line or a perforation 20 at a position which is located in a vicinity of the distal end of the overlapping section 16A on the lower side.
