PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a wide beam formed in the supply port becomes an obstacle between an ejection pressure generating element part heating an ink and a supply port, affecting a filling speed of the ink to an ejection opening and hindering the ejection pressure generating element part near the beam from obtaining an ejection performance uniform to that of the other parts, and that a sufficient strength cannot be obtained when a beam width is narrowed. SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording head, ink ejection pressure generating elements are prepared on a silicon single crystal substrate, and the ejection openings are arranged at a plate side opposed to the ink ejection pressure generating elements. The ink is ejected perpendicularly to the ejection opening substrate by generating bubbles in the ink. The head has a plurality of the ink supply ports arranged continuously in a longitudinal direction to the substrate. A top part of the beam between the continuous ink supply ports is formed by a surface surrounded by a lattice plane with a principal plane of an orientation (111). COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
