PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub unit bearing which easily controls a space dimension between an encoder and a sensor of a detecting part in a state of the hub unit bearing, performs rotation speed signal inspection, and is excellent in durability with a foreign matter. SOLUTION: A first sealing seal member includes a yoke and a seal lip comprising an elastic body slidably abutted on the yoke, and the yoke is provided with: an inner cylindrical part; an outer cylindrical part; a plane part connecting the inner cylindrical part and the outer cylindrical part; and an inner space formed by the inner cylindrical part, the outer cylindrical part and the plane part. The encoder is attached to an outer peripheral surface of the outer cylindrical part, and the encoder is confronted with the sensor provided on an outer ring on the radial outer part of the encoder.
