PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the same effects as by the addition of IPA or the prevention of the excess emulsification of ink and of the development of scumming on a form dampening roller due to the acquisition of favorable wettability to the hydrophilic non-printing area part of a printing plate surface at printing work or the like and to prevent a problem from developing in the quality of a printed material such as the falling off of a printing area part during printing or the like even in a computer-to-plate printing plate, the printing area part of which tends to be easily corroded by dampening water. SOLUTION: This dampening water concentrated composition includes 2,4-diethyl-1,5-pentane diol.
