PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid probe for classification by pathogenic bacterial species capable of collectively detecting bacterial strains of the same species thereof irrespective of the bacterial strains and differentially detecting the bacterial strains from bacteria of other bacterial species. SOLUTION: Any of base sequences composed of a plurality of specific sequences and complementary sequences thereof or a combination of two or more thereof is used as a probe for detecting a gene of a bacterium which is an infectious disease pathogenic bacterium of the genus Flavobacterium.
