PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an interline rod with which the rod butt opening part of a top rod is positioned at a fixed position, the state is retained and a fishing line insertion operation is easily carried out. SOLUTION: A line introduction hole 4A for introducing a fishing line (a) from a reel to a butt rod 4 is formed. A holder 6 for holding the top rod 1 is attached to the rod butt end of a butt top 3 and magnets 7A and 7B are arranged at the butt rod 4 and the holder 6, respectively. The rod butt opening part for introducing the fishing line (a) introduced from the line introduction hole 4A into the fishing line insertion route of the top rod 1 is positioned in the vicinity of the line introduction hole 4A by mutually pulling electromagnetic powers of the magnets 7A and 7B.
