DEDIFFERENTIATED, PROGRAMMABLE STEM CELL OF MONOCYTIC ORIGIN, AND PRODUCTION AND USE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing autologous human stem cells, i.e., adult stem cells of monocytic origin coming from the patient who is to be treated with the stem cells produced from the original cell and/or with the body cells produced from this stem cell, and a method for using these cells.

SOLUTION: The invention relates to a process for the production of adult dedifferentiated, programmable stem cells originated from human monocytes. The process is characterized in that (a) the monocytes are isolated from human blood, (b) the monocytes are proliferated in an adequate culture medium containing the cell growth factor M-CSF, (c) the monocytes are cultured in a culture medium containing IL-3 simultaneously with the process (b) or after the process (b), and (d) the adult dedifferentiated, programmable stem cells are obtained by separating the cells from the culture medium.
