PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote-controlled universal head system that can reflect operator's intention on reproduction of a shot by a preset function by making it possible to control zooming and focusing through manual operations. SOLUTION: When given an indication for shot reproduction by the preset function from a universal head controller 12, a CPU 42 of a universal head main body 16 judges which of a full-shot mode and a half-shot mode is selected with a mode selection switch 34 of the universal head controller 12. When the full-shot mode is selected, panning/tilting, zooming, and focusing are driven so that all positions of the panning/tilting, zooming, and focusing match with positions registered as a shot. When the half-shot mode is selected, on the other hand, only the panning/tilting is driven to the position registered as a shot and zooming and focusing are driven according to manual operations.
