PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone terminal device which, when lost or stolen, is render unusable irrespective of whether the telephone terminal device is within a communication zone. SOLUTION: A radio IP telephone terminal device has a communication control section 20 which judges whether the radio IP telephone terminal device 10 is outside the communication zone based on a state of communication with a base station 50 when the radio IP telephone terminal device is lost or stolen, and a key lock control section 30 which locks the keys of the radio IP telephone terminal device 10 a time that a user presets later based on the judgment result of the communication control section 20.
