PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor suction head including a revolving brush capable of decreasing a tangle of hair, lint or the like on the brush bristle as much as possible. SOLUTION: In the floor suction head 10 for a vacuum cleaner, which includes the revolving brush 20 having a brush shaft 22 rotatably supported in the interior of a casing 14, the lower surface of which is opened and brush rows planted with bristles 31 planted parallel or spiral to the axis in the peripheral surface of the brush shaft 22, a part or the whole of the circumference of the revolving brush 20 is covered with a net member 40 having a mesh through which the end of the bristle can be protruded and retracted.
