PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a thermo-plastic resin has caused a large amount of burr at the time of injection molding and cannot have been appropriately kneaded when the melt viscosity of the thermo-plastic resin is not appropriate and provide a magnetic encoder having satisfactory productivity. SOLUTION: The magnetic encoder 16 includes both a multipole magnet 23 in which magnetic poles are alternately arranged in its circumferential direction and a slinger 24 for holding the multipole magnet 23. The multipole magnet 23 includes both magnetic power and a thermo-plastic resin. The melt viscosity of the thermo-plastic resin is between 30 Pa×s and 1500 Pa×s. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
