A METHOD FOR COMBINING VIDEO SEQUENCES AND AN APPARATUS THEREOF

The invention relates to a method for rapid combination of a first and a second video sequence into a combined video sequence, such as a TV commercial comprising a highlight sequence from a recently broadcasted show. In a first step, a number of first video sequences is generated from an original video sequence, such as a live show, by using mark-up signals. Next, one of the generated first video sequences are chosen to be combined with one of a number of second video sequences, wherein the second video sequences are configured to be combined with said first video sequences. Finally, the first and second video sequence are combined into the combined video sequence.
