<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of detecting a position lying in a dead angle of an obstacle and its state, and consequently, accurately detecting an area wherein the obstacle exists when an image picture imaged by an imaging means is converted into an overview image. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor 1 extracts an obstacle in an overlapped region in an image picture acquired by a plurality of cameras 2F and 2L, an obstacle candidate region based on luminance information and the like in both the image pictures when the obstacle is extracted, and an obstacle region based on a projection direction and the obstacle candidate region in each image picture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
