<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing for an alternator which prevents leakage of grease and maintains stable sealing performance even under a high temperature environment. <P>SOLUTION: A deep groove ball bearing 21 as the bearing for the alternator supports a rotating shaft of the alternator, and is provided with: an inner ring 22 as a rotation side bearing ring; an outer ring 23 as a non-rotation side bearing ring; balls 24 as a plurality of rolling elements arranged between the inner ring 22 and the outer ring 23; and a sealing seal 26 as a sealing member for sealing a space between the inner ring 22 and the outer ring 23. The sealing seal 26 includes: a fixed part 26c fixed on the outer ring 23; an intermediate lip part 26e as a contact lip part abutted on the inner ring 22; an inside lip part 26d as a non-contact lip part arranged to have a predetermined space from the inner ring 22 on the axial inner side than the intermediate lip part 26e; and a cutout part 26g as an opening part provided on the inside lip part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
