<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil seat for both of normal and reverse rotations enabling to sufficiently continue to seal a fluid even in operation of both of normal and reverse rotations under high speed sliding, for example, 6,000 revolutions (26.7 m/sec). <P>SOLUTION: The oil seal for both of normal and reverse rotations is formed by vulcanization-molding a rubber composition containing 1-60 pts.wt. zinc oxide whisker having a tetrapod type crystalline structure to 100 pts.wt. rubber. Since the zinc oxide whisker having the tetrapod type crystalline structure is blended in the rubber composition used for the oil seal for both the normal and reverse rotations, it is considered that the vulcanized article has resistance force to deformation by the shape effect. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
