<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure accumulating type fuel injector of an engine for improving detecting accuracy in common rail fuel pressure, by detecting effective average fuel pressure as a control signal of fuel injection, by avoiding detecting a peak value and a minimum value of pressure pulsation in the fuel pressure in a pressure accumulating chamber of a common rail by a common rail pressure sensor by a means extremely simple and inexpensive in cost. <P>SOLUTION: This pressure accumulating type fuel injector of the engine has the common rail 1 supplying fuel accumulated and stored under pressure in the common pressure accumulating chamber of respective cylinders pressurized under high pressure, to a fuel injection valve of the respective cylinder from a plurality of high pressure fuel outlets arranged at a specific interval in the longitudinal direction in the pressure accumulating chamber, and is provided with the common rail pressure sensor 2 detecting pressure of the pressure accumulating chamber in an end part of the pressure accumulating chamber 1a, and is provided with an orifice 100 for restricting the passage area of a pressure detecting passage in the pressure detecting passage communicating a high pressure fuel outlet part arranged on the end part side of the pressure accumulating camber with the common rail pressure sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
