<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acidic waste treating agent which is stable even when added to waste containing a lot of acidic materials, which exhibits high treating ability to heavy metals and further which can effectively treat harmful acidic materials such as hydrogen chloride too, though there has been a problem that the waste treating agent used for treating heavy metals contained in the waste is decomposed to produce harmful gas or the treating agent becomes unstable to hardly obtain sufficient treatment effect when the waste containing a lot of acidic materials is treated or when treated under high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The acidic waste treating agent can be obtained by digesting calcium oxide with an aqueous solution of a metal scavenger in which a dithioic acid group is bonded to nitrogen of a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound. The treating agent can be preferably obtained by the reaction of 0.1 to 150 parts weight of the metal scavenger with 100 parts weight of calcium oxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
