<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of achieving improvement of image granularity and an image void. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: an image holding body 12; a charging device 14 that charges the image holding member; an electrostatic latent image forming device 16 that exposes the surface of the electrified image holding member to form an electrostatic latent image; a developing device 18 that develops the electrostatic latent image formed on the image holding member with toner into a toner image; an intermediate transfer body 24 to which the toner image formed on the image holding member is transferred; a primary transfer device 20 that transfers the toner image formed on the image holding member onto the intermediate transfer body; and a secondary transfer device 30 that transfers the toner image transferred on the intermediate transfer body onto a recording medium; wherein the intermediate transfer body includes a resin layer containing polyaniline particles, and the 50% particle diameter (number bases) of the toner is at least twice as large as the 50% particle diameter (number bases) of the polyaniline particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
