MOISTUREPROOF COMPOSITION AND MOISTUREPROOF SHEET USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moistureproof composition excellent in water vapor-barrier property, and to provide a moistureproof sheet using the same. SOLUTION: The moistureproof composition comprises a reaction product of a water-soluble polymer and a tetraalkoxysilane hydrolyzate 5% or greater in the ratio of the number of nonsubstituted silicon atoms plus monosubstituted silicon atoms to the total number of nonsubstituted silicon atoms and mono- to trisubstituted silicon atoms: [(the number of nonsubstituted silicon atoms + the number of monosubstituted silicon atoms)/(the number of nonsubstituted silicon atoms + the number of mono- to trisubstituted silicon atoms)]×100(%).
